Thoroughly enjoyable cafe that provided us with a perfect latte, excellent food, and a warm smile. The folks here are so friendly and helpful it makes you feel at home, linking to the name of the place. They had a house made apple pie syrup that was incredible. The salad was excellent and the egg salad sandwich was right spot on. There's a fridge case of Togo items with dinner meals available for folks too. I didn't try them but love the idea! Love this place and will return again one day

We enjoyed your wonderfully delicious Turkey for thanksgiving. My family continues to rave about how good it was. I also made a Turkey breast to supplement yours. No one is talking about mine. lol. You are operating a fantastic business. The quality and attention you pay to what you do shines through! Keep up the great work!

Our second catering event was absolutely fantastic! Jody and her team made a delicious Sunday brunch for my family the day after our son’s wedding. Quiches were delivered right out of their oven and tasted great, the fall fruit salad was oh so fresh and gobbled up! Chicken and egg salads were perfectly seasoned and when put on the croissants made a perfect sandwich. We planned for 25 people and the amount of food generous enough to enable leftovers for us and some take home foods for our guests. YES, I will call on What Momma Makes again for catering and of course a weekday lunch!

Wow!! My first time in. I just wanted to grab a quick bite and a coffee. Little did I know, this would be one of the most delicious meals I’ve ever had The chicken salad was like whipped air in the best way possible. So fresh, light, fluffy, and healthy. The croissant just felt like a bonus. Every bite exemplified made-to-order scratch cooking The caramel iced latte with oat milk was so velvety and balanced. I was truly impressed! Everyone’s hands were busy making this food with love and it shows! They were so sweet and I feel great about giving them my business I will make the to try out everything they have to offer!! Recommend!

We are so lucky to have Jodi and her team in Hummelstown! What Momma Makes keeps my family fed and happy when we order for pick-up for the week, or when we let them fill our holiday table. I love to stop in for a weekend breakfast, and recently we ordered catering that was a huge hit. Jodi made a custom menu for us to fit a party theme, and everyone loved what they ate! Luckily we planned ahead and had to-go containers to fill with leftovers, which our guests happily took and raved about the next day!

Everyone who works here was so nice! They seem to all take pride in offering good food and great service, which is really nice to experience. Our food was good. They had pre-made potato soup, so we bought that to go. It was delicious! The vintage style seating is really nice and comfortable. The seating area is small, but there was only 1 other customer when we were there, so it wasn't cramped. The seasonal decorations were really cute. I definitely recommend this place and appreciate the great service.

Happened on find this on a trip through town. Small cafe with a couple of tables for seating. Their shaken espresso was definitely better than others we have tried. Must try an acai bowl next time as I tried their tuna salad and it did not disappoint. Their col-pressed juice was pretty amazing. Will be coming back next time we are in town !

What Mama Makes is a really cute coffee shop and a much-needed place for Hummelstown! We have been there a few times, and the baked goods are always fresh and made in-house. The prices for their coffee are also competitive compared to other local coffee shops. The space is a little small with limited seating, but it is definitely worth checking out.
